MySci Blog

It’s an exciting time for the MySci team, as we are proud to announce the launch of our very own blog. However, you should know that we use the term “our” blog somewhat reluctantly. That’s because it will, in a way, be “your” blog.  Click here for more...

Beautiful Schools

Our recent visits with the Investigation Stations have taken us to some of the most beautiful and interesting buildings in St Louis.
One of many benefits of being a MySci Program Specialist is getting to travel to different schools. For the last several years I have been entranced by the Saint Louis Public School buildings, especially those built by Ittner.  These jewels, with their tall ceilings, hardwood floors, polished brass railings, marble entry ways and terraced lawns are a joy to behold. William B. Ittner and Rockwell Milligin built over 56 schools in St Louis over a 30 year span! MySci has been lucky enough to spend time at 10 of these beauties. Check out the website, www.builtstlouis.net for pictures of these gems.
