MySci Blog

It’s an exciting time for the MySci team, as we are proud to announce the launch of our very own blog. However, you should know that we use the term “our” blog somewhat reluctantly. That’s because it will, in a way, be “your” blog.  Click here for more...

What an exciting time we had on our fieldtrips with the MySci partners this summer!
Here are a few comments from participating teachers:
  • “I learned that penguins are very different animals. Their wings are thick and sturdy. I also learned that owls cannot move their eyes, which is why they turn their heads 270 percent.”
  • “I learned the Arctic region is full of life. It includes many regions from many different countries, including the U.S.”
  • “I learned about the different kinds of rocks in Missouri, and what time period they represent.”
  • “I learned a new interactive way of representing the growth cycle of plants to my young students.”
If you missed summer professional development, there are still fall dates open, Sept. 16 and Oct. 27 and 28. Call Diane Pilla at 314-289-1448 right away to register! You wouldn’t want to miss the fun.
